Welcome to the Speech and Language area of the website.

All adults in school play an important role in supporting children in their language and communication needs. At TPF, this is led by myself, Rachel Peachey (Deputy Headteacher) and Shelley Kerr (Speech and Language Higher Level Teaching Assistant). We both work across Tenterden Infant and Tenterden Church of England Junior Schools.

One of our roles is to identify and support children with Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). We work closely with Class teachers, Teaching Assistants, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Teachers and parents to strive for the best outcomes for all children here at Tenterden Primary Federation.
