Information Advice and Support Kent (IASK)

The Information, Advice and Support Kent (IASK) service provides free, impartial, and confidential support to children, young people up to age 25, and their parents or carers regarding SEND.

IASK can help if you:
  • are unsure about your child’s school support
  • need help talking to the school or going to meetings
  • are looking at college options after age 16
  • have an EHC plan and need help with reviews
  • want to learn about decision-making after age 16

Kent Family Hub

Get the local support and services you need, with Kent Family Hub.

You might be a parent, carer, child, or young person.

With Kent Family Hub, you can find advice, support and services to help throughout your family journey, from newborns to 19-year-olds, or up to 25-year olds with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Family Fund - helping disabled children

Family Fund deliver grants for families raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young people on a low income across the UK. 

To see if your family is eligible for a grant, they will need to assess your income and the impact of disability on your child.

Grants are also dependent on available funding.
