After many weeks of planning and preparation by the House and Vice Captains, on Wednesday 29th June the Infant and Junior schools enjoyed their summer BBQ (cooked by our kitchen staff) in a Festival atmosphere.
For the 4th year running the gardening club expertly run by Mrs Jerrom and Mrs Young reached the finals of Hampton Court Scarecrow Competition.
This morning's Sports Day has been cancelled due to ground conditions .
Apologies, however the children's safety is paramount.

This week the Junior school kitchen had an unannounced inspection from KCC
Miss Burdett was honoured to receive an award for ‘Best Initiative to Encourage Speaking and Listening Skills’ at the Kent Literacy Awards on 21st June 2016.
Tenterden Junior School took part in Tenterden Lions Club Primary Schools’ Choir Competition.
Talented local artist Sam Cox, aka Doodleman gave an inspiring presentation to the children at Tenterden Junior School today (Friday 27 May). The staff and children enjoyed listening to Sam talk about his love of doodling from a young age, how he has progressed his artwork to his character The Doodleman and were shown photos and video clips of his artwork. After the presentation the children were all given an individual, hand drawn cartoon character by Sam himself, who is an ex-pupil.
Sam works for high profile clients such as Adidas, Sony and Converse.
Years 5 and 6 have been learning about life in Tudor times.

7 adults and 13 children travelled to Twickenham to watch the International Rugby 7's on 22nd May 2016.
On 17th May 2016 Some of the children and their parents went to see The Lion King.
