Tenterden Lions Club Primary Schools’ Choir Competition

Tenterden Junior School took part in Tenterden Lions Club Primary Schools’ Choir Competition.

The event took place in St Mildred’s Church with six primary schools from the area entering.

Each school sang two songs of their choice.  Tenterden Junior School’s first song was the ‘Hit the Road Jack’ made famous by Ray Charles in 1961.  They finished with Labi Siffre’s ‘Something Inside So Strong’.

After a tense wait it was announced that Tenterden Junior were joint winners with John Mayne School in Biddenden.

Mr Leggat, Deputy Head said that the choir’s performance was amazing and that we were all very proud.
