During the spring terms we explored what three words described our school. Children, parents and staff took part. Here is our Wordle. Being kind was the most frequent word given, with being happy, helpful, caring and independent following closely behind.

Today the children furthered their experiments with hot & cold colours. They started by exploring the colour wheel and deciding what things best represented those colours to them. Then they used oil pastels to create abstract hot and cold images.

We are linking our next couple of art lessons to what the children are studying in science - Animals including Humans. The children each had an animal portrait that they mixed up with their own to create a whole new creature !
