On the 21^st March our Junior School Quiz Team went to the Quiz Club - National Inter-School Quiz Championship General Knowledge Area Heat at Stocks Green Primary School, Tonbridge, where they competed against two ‘Home’ teams, one from Sussex Road Primary and a rogue team made up of miscellaneous persona called the Trojans. After an hour and a quarter of quizzing by Simon Blair of television’s ‘Child Genius’ fame the Tenterden quartet of Alex Townsend, Fraser Anderson, Will Thorne and Rider Westgate claimed the Area Heat Title by a commanding 550 points from their nearest challengers. Congratulations to the team who will now move on to the Area Final, yet to be arranged, after Easter.
