Meet our Governors

 

Anne-Marie Martin - Chair

Anne-Marie took up the role of parent governor in 2022 with a vested interest in supporting an environment where every child is empowered to reach their full potential.

She has a passion for education, having worked as a secondary teacher in English and Media for over two decades, with a background in leading departments and as a GCSE and A-Level examiner. She is also involved in promoting awareness and advocacy of neurodiversity in teaching and learning through staff initiatives, as well as developing knowledge and resources on the safety and well-being of children and young people.

Anne-Marie is an avid film fan with three children who have moved up the ranks at our school, and enjoys having the privilege of being part of the school community and working in collaboration with its dedicated staff. 

 

 

Lorna Walters

Lorna Walters is a civil servant with 20+ years of experience in enforcement. Lorna and her husband Alex, have three children, two of whom are currently attending Tenterden Primary Federation. Their youngest child starting in September 2024.

Lorna is a keen ultra runner, and took up the role of parent governor in July 2023. 

 

Kimberley Craggs

Kimberley has lived in Tenterden for 28 years and is an active part of the community, leading a Brownie and Guide unit in the town since 1996.

She has worked at Tenterden Primary Federation since 2006 starting out as the Outdoor Play Co-ordinator and now as the Computing Manager. 

In her continuing role as staff governor, it has allowed Kimberley to further contribute to the Federation and enhance the possibilities and opportunities for the children in our community.  It enables Kimberley to represent staff at Governor meetings to ensure that everyone has a voice.
