Daniel is new to the trust, and only joined in 2022 working his way to become Tenterden Primary Federation’s chair. He has always wanted to support the local education system and community, and since having a little boy himself, he feels now is an ideal opportunity to be able to support and have an impact on our future generations. 

Daniel has spent most of his career within the retail sector, experienced in leading large teams, influencing strategic objectives and challenging the status quo. He has a passion for coaching and mentoring, and has helped develop a number of individuals to the next level within their careers inside and outside of his working environment. 

Having managed numerous multi-million pound projects, he is a fully qualified project manager, currently working for Southeastern railway, looking into ways to innovate digital within the rail industry.

Daniel currently lives in Ashford with his wife, little boy and 2 little pooches.

Anne-Marie took up the role of parent governor in 2022 with a vested interest in supporting an environment where every child is empowered to reach their full potential.

She has a passion for education, having worked as a secondary teacher in English and Media for over two decades, with a background in leading departments and as a GCSE and A-Level examiner. She is also involved in promoting awareness and advocacy of neurodiversity in teaching and learning through staff initiatives, as well as developing knowledge and resources on the safety and well-being of children and young people.

Anne-Marie is an avid film fan with three children who have moved up the ranks at our school, and enjoys having the privilege of being part of the school community and working in collaboration with its dedicated staff. 

Maureen moved from Cheshire to Tenterden seven years ago and has been a co-opted governor at TPF School for six years.  

She worked for both Cheshire and Shropshire County Council Libraries and was a governor at a Cheshire primary school. On moving to Kent wished to use this skill set at TPF where her three grandchildren have been pupils.

A strong advocate of lifelong learning Maureen believes that every child should have the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Lorna Walters is a civil servant with 20+ years of experience in enforcement. Lorna and her husband Alex, have three children, two of whom are currently attending Tenterden Primary Federation. Their youngest child starting in September 2024.

Lorna is a keen ultra runner, and took up the role of parent governor in July 2023.
