Kent PACT

The latest from Kent PACT

As we head into the summer holidays, we want to thank everyone who’s supported Kent PACT in our mission to improve SEND services so far this year. It has been such a significant year for Kent PACT working with you all – so whether you've attended one our information webinars, our white paper series, completed a poll or shared feedback, your involvement is truly appreciated and valued.
PINS Project
Kent PACT proudly saw the meaningful PINS Project come to a close in March 2026, following a period of valuable learning, collaboration and engagement with parent carers across Kent.
The project created important opportunities to strengthen direct engagement with families, while further developing collaborative working across education, health and local authority services. It also helped establish clearer approaches to supporting parent carers through shared resources, guidance and accessible engagement methods, alongside encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
The impact of the project continues to influence how parent carer voice is being embedded into ongoing strategic work and future service development across Kent.

We are going to be attending the upcoming SEND roadshows this summer - where we can connect with families face-to-face. Kent Ofsted Area Inspection
Many thanks to all the parents and carers who completed the Ofsted Parent Survey following our recent social media posts. We were delighted by the level of engagement and greatly appreciate everyone who took the time to share their views.
We are pleased to have played an important role in supporting the Kent Ofsted inspection by helping to ensure that the voices of parents and carers are well represented. As part of this, we have shared feedback and data gathered from parents and families over the past few years to help reflect their experiences.
We will continue to keep you updated throughout the process and look forward to sharing further feedback and outcomes in the coming months.
Parent Resource Pack
Here at Kent PACT one of our key aims is to help signpost parents to services which they might find helpful.
Often parents tell us that they just were not aware that certain services existed. Others feel like they are stumbling across services they feel could have helped them earlier in their journey.
Because of this, Kent PACT has pulled together a number of universal services (services which are available to ALL parents) into one place in a Parent Resource Pack.
We’ve chosen resources to give you a good feel for what help is available and what you might find locally to you. The resources we’ve collected include health, education, community and charity organisations.
Developing our Parent Resource Pack has been one of our proudest projects yet and we cannot wait to see and hear about how this has been useful to you and your family navigating the SEND system.

A huge thank you to everyone who has attended any of our recent webinars. We truly appreciate all the families who join and we look forward to all the ones still yet to come this year. By popular demand, the Transition webinar hosted by IASK is returning for the second time, this time of an evening for anyone who didn’t get to attend another opportunity to join. We hope to see you there!
