At the Junior School we set homework to support the children’s learning.  Different areas of the curriculum are usually set for the same evening each week to promote consistency.

Parents are encouraged to support children with their homework and to communicate with the teacher if there are areas which their child found difficult.

Where research is set, as a general rule it is not appropriate to simply cut and paste off the internet, information should be read, understood and reproduced in the child’s own words.  This means that they have understood and learnt the work.
