School Dinners Guidance
School meals MUST be paid in full at the start of each week or the beginning of each term.
Payments can be made either on line through ScoPay, or sent into the Junior School office in a named envelope.
Tenterden Infant and Junior Schools jointly manage their own catering and are therefore totally dependent on the regular payment for all school dinners taken each week in order to meet the costs of food, staffing and utility bills etc.
We require a two week notice period if your child would like to swap from school dinners to packed lunch or vice versa.
If your child’s meal pattern is for a school dinner and they turn up on the day with a packed lunch, unless you have given the school prior notice to swap, you will still be charged for the meal that has been prepared.
If your child’s account is in arrears then you will need to provide your child with a packed lunch, if they still come to school without their packed lunch the school will provide a sandwich, yoghurt and a piece of fruit and you will be charged for this and we request that it is paid for at the end of the day.
If your child’s account is in arrears they will not be able to take part in any themed meal days.
If your child’s account is in arrears and DoJo’s and letters have not been replied to we will then send out an appointment to discuss repayment procedures.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
